2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
dealer nightmare

Last Tuesday I had the front brake hoses replaced under the RR call back scheme, "all done nicely sir" and off I drive.
On Saturday whilst giving the RR its weekly wash and valet I noticed the front alloys (newly refurbished two weeks ago) had a very stubborn marks which would not come off no matter how hard I tried. On closer inspection I saw dripping liquid inside the rims, to my horror this as the brake fluid! checking the near side that was the same too, wet with brake fluid.

I contacted the dealer and took the RR back, very red faced and on bended knees they couldn't apologise enough. Off I sped in the loan car, Evoque ??
They agreed to refurb the alloys x2 as both sides so happy days I thought.
The car was delivered back to me this afternoon perfect I thought, but as the driver approached me looking slightly embarrassed with head hung low, unfortunately he had to take to the verge avoiding a truck, hit a rock and damaged the alloy rim !!
So now I have three newly refurbished alloys, which need to be refurbished again !

What a joke, it really does seem no one can be trusted to do even a simple job right these days. I'd tell them you want. Complete new set of wheels, not refurbished

I would also take it yourself for a 4 wheel alignment (£60) and take the bill to him, so you know the knock is not going to wear out you tyres etc.

update
the dealer has agreed to refurb the wheels and have the tracking checked also, so my faith is restored in RR dealers.
