No no Sir. Our local Shell has attended service every day from 10.00 to 18.00. Mind you, they charge more than the supermarkets. |

Or just because they don't have a pre-heater! Car history includes: LR Series 3, RR Classic x 4, LR 101, Discovery 1 and 2, FFRR. D3, Freelancer 2 and now back in FFRR. Yes I'm a masochist.... |

For screen wash I get the 25l drums of concentrate off the usual auction site for £19 delivered and then dilute 50/50 into empty smaller 5l containers ready to top up the car each weekend. Works out less than 40p a litre.

Should I load up the boot with 3 days supply of canned sausage and beans? Just in case I get stuck?

I used to stop, when cars had towing eyes, but now it's all too much and the AA just love to tow people, so I tend to let them get on with it. Unless it's someone I know or I'm flagged down, I just keep on going. And in this time of injury ambulance chasing "lawyers", is it wort taking a risk in a possible suit for helping someone? Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
