I thought I would get some additional reversing lights as the camera isn't brilliant at night and at work and at the caravan there is very little light.

I trawled the usual places and bought some LED lights but obviously wasn't paying attention. I though they were a bit bigger than a typical fog but they are much much bigger

Yep, a foot long is a bit big... I used some smaller ones, very bright at night..

I would put them underneath just in front of the backbox theres sure to be a few bolts sticking down and then just get some 1mm metal flat bar and bend to mount a light on L322 2008 vogue

What about where the towing electrics are? i.e. in line with them, so will be semi hidden

I have a lightbar similar to your two put together so have an idea of the size (it's not on the FFRR)

The ones Pete has are still a double row of LED's so not small

I also have one like this on my boat and even that gives off a decent amount of light, but is deeper than it looks on the pics.

I'd go with Craigs suggestion if you have a tow bar, get a couple of small ones & attach the armature - you can get an impressive amount of light from a relatively small LED unit these days :thumbs:

I have no experience of this specific unit, but these look like they would fit nicely either side of the armature.

attatch lights to a bracket of some kind then screw bracket onto a piece of 2" wood or metal and then bolt into tow bar like you would the tow hook.. ... - .- -.

Why?

It's not that difficult to split the reversing lights and insert some led's, a lot neater than add on's , plus they wont get knocked off on the rough, and you wont have any holes to drill. If you've got to add on to the existing lights why not use some of these (example only, can't be bothered to find the cheapest)

Most of them are stick on, at that cost it don't really matter if they get bashed, could stick them below the reflectors. They come in all shapes and sizes.........  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

thanks Miggit, they look quite good and I can always find a use for the lamps I have.

I'm going to weight it up at weekend if the weather is ok.
