that'll be handy to know mate..my crappy little jack needs a block of wood between the jack and chassis to lift it and it does struggle... ... - .- -.

I always use a thin piece of wood to stop metal to metal contact.

I do on the Mini with a regular trolley jack, but this has a rubber pad so don't really see the need 2006 Mercedes CLS

But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...
