I was crusing auto trader and saw an ad for a 5.0 on an LPG search. Anyway, I emailed them to enquire about it.

The long and the short of it is that the dealership are getting the car converted with Prinz over in Holland and that they will be offering it over here once it's all sorted out.

The dealership was 'Crofton Car Sales'

It can be done but being a direct injection it will have to run on petrol as well as LPG at the same time, so not a great saving unless you do mega miles.... Pete

That's what I understand but it's interesting news none the less for the guys that are doing high miles.

My 5.0 drinks like a fish but I don't mind the cost so far as she's so comfortable and has great acceleration!

Anyway, I spend less on petrol than I would spend in cigarettes on a normal work day!

I recently drove a 2017 L405 5.0 SC with LPG - on the route it burned 1.6 l of petrol per 1 mile - that much was spent on cooling the fuel injectors.
