OP's got an early FF, and AFAIK IID for his in NON BT will do exactly the same as the BT one and is very easy to use, the later cars do more in BT form...

Graphing and viewing of (multiple) live values is where the main difference is with the BT, and not having to write down the fault codes manually.

Just to clarify, can a nonBT version be plugged into a laptop and used in the same way as a BT version? ______________________________

No, the PC interface just replicates the integrated one - a display and 4 buttons. It's primary purpose it to allow CC to be fitted to vehicles that don't have it, so the buttons can then be used for the IID, and as a back-up in the event of clockspring issues etc. |

Oh right... when I bought my non BT one they were exactly the same, then they enhanced the BT one and now it does a lot more... |
