They're for the non AFS lights though. Are the lights you're using AFS units? Most conversions I've seen, including the one on my SC have got the standard lights on them.

I think you will find they only supply the headlight plug with the wires pre pinned and glanded, not with the matching socket that allows a plug and play solution....... You have to cut off you plug and solder there plug on to the car loom.

There is currently no way to use 2010- AFS headlights as the AFS ECU is on a different bus speed and language than the pre 2010 cars.

Ahh, in that case a friend of mine who is collecting parts to do a conversion is in for a shock when he opens the boxes! lol.

I noticed in your other thread the headlights you've bought have the AFS lamp on the bottom of them, the lights on my car I assume as the standard Vogue lamps as they don't have the extra lamps on the corners.

You're conversion looks great Do your DRL's come on all the time with the light switch in the Auto position?

Mine was already on the car when I bought it which saved me a bit of work thankfully

I can set my side lights as daylight running lights with my Iid tool, has the same effect

I was never buying AFS lights as they cost about another £500 a headlight and cannot be used so no point at all. Current vehicles

Looking at your lights, they're different to the ones on our SC, but the same as the ones on our 2012 AB which definitely has the AFS system...

If the beam of the 2012 move left and right with the steering then yes

I think you are confusing Side beam lights with adaptive headlights which actually move the dipped and high beam lens completely Current vehicles

Shame you couldn't get the AFS feature to work on your new lamps then

It's one thing I miss on the SC, they do make quite a difference when driving the AB.

Anyway, you'll be sick of hearing about lights now Top job on your conversion though, looks great!
