Vogue with ventilated seats?

Hello

As an RRS owner of 6 years I've decided it's time for a change and I'm currently looking at a 2009 3.6 TDV8 Vogue which has the ventilated seats, was it an optional upgrade?

I've had a look in the Wiki but would be grateful if some could point me in the direction of the specs for the later LCD dash models.

Is it just me or is ther not a massive difference in the price of the 3.6's and 4.4's? Completely acknowledge the 4.4 engine and box are superior but am I missing something? Is it worth a £7k premium?

Thank you

Option on the Vogue - standard on the VSE

The 4.4 is nicer - particularly the gearbox - but IMHO not worth 7k - I'd go for a 3.6 and a remap for that sort of difference

Thank you, I thought it was a major difference between the Vogue and VSE, do you know what the other spec differences are and whether it was an option?

Would love to know whether dual view TV and reverse camera etc are standard too!

Thanks again for your response, am looking forward to an imminent change, have really enjoyed the RRS but see al lot on here seem to make the change and really enjoy their FFRR.

Pretty much everything was available as an option - the SE package was basically just a bundle of options priced at less then the sum of the individual options.

IMHO you should just figure out what you want and then go looking for a car that has those things.

The VSE package varied a bit over the years, so makes it harder to say what was included.

I would worry about the things that are hard to change & less about things like wheels which are easy to do afterwards.

If you really care about cooled seats, then probably easier to search for just VSE's than look at every Vogue and ask the question - not sure about dial view and whether that was standard though.

Re: Vogue with ventilated seats?

The earlier the car you buy, the better the standard spec will be sir... Meaning, if you buy a 2009 or 2010 model VSE it will be spec’d to the hilt... If you buy a 2011 VSE for example, you will loose Vision assist (camera kit) Full Beam Assist, Blind spot monitoring, to name a few! But gain rear double glazing & a bit more sound proofing...
So, the sweet spot IMHO is an early 4.4TDV8 VSE with only front double glazing... Probably get RSE as well! Post early 2011 cars are a lot more poverty stricken Rolling Eyes
3.6’s with LCD dash boards will have NO Brembo brakes! (do a search on here) many complain!

Thanks Craig, really useful.

The car I'm looking at has dual view and ventilated seats which I wasn't expecting, not sure what cameras it has, is reversing camera standard?

I need go back and have a good look over it to find out exactly what it does have.

Thanks again for your response.

Steve

There are two types of reverse cam Steve... One fixed & a moving one (with the vision assist package)
