Thanks Guys.

Diesel is about 56p/ltr from a reputable garage, Shell/Total and about 51p/ltr from the many independents here.

There is a noticeable difference in performance, ie I think the fuel is watered down when buying from the one off or smaller chain service stations. I only get fuel from Shell/Total.

I do not fully agree.

The tax authorities list their perceived value of the vehicle you are bringing in. So whilst my price inclusive of frieight was less than $20,000 the tax office here valued it at $37,000. And you ,officially are not allowed to appeal.

There is also a move now to cap the age of vehicles much like Kenya, which is 8 years.

I agree there are differing opinions on how a vehicle is valued and it depends which route you take.

Everything is up for debate here!

So I had my first mechanical issue, that being a blown front air bag on the drivers side strut.

As luck would have it, this happened at the indie I had just dropped in to see. A loud poof and it sank faster that the Titanic onto its bump stops.

The guys had it out in no time and put an old one in to get me on the road again. I ordered two new ones from Dan and 4 days later they where here Shocked Cant complain about that!
