2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zermatt Silver
clunking first gear

when i been driving for a while and the rover is hot when coming down the gears it will jolt clunk into 1st gear nothing terrible but is worrying me a little i remember my last vogue used to do it to...

Plaes can someone tell me why its doing this Confused

What mileage are you at? The oil & filter in the gearbox must be changed every 60,000 miles, have you done this?

before i had mine re-mapped , mine would shift down when going around a tight roundabout or sharp slow corner ..it wasnt very noticeable but it was there... ... - .- -.

Had a new gearbox put in 2 years ago, maybe i should change the oil and filter

maybe the oil is low????

Never knew this was done .......is it an easy job or just take it to main stealer??
