and definitely no similarities with the old 3 litres i.e. 2007 2008 etc

Yep both of my 3.0tdv6 l405s have performed well and I honestly say at least as quick as my pals l322 4.4 but just more than refined and economical.

I'm unimpressed with the JE Engineering page. They offer a remap on a 4.4TDV8 from 2012 onwards. Is it not a 4.4SDV8?

Doesn't give one much confidence that they know what they are doing or have a great eye for accuracy. It's a good job they have a good reputation.

You might be better starting new threads for each question.

The gesture tailgate is a newer introduction - can't remember when, but not on the earlier cars

CD - never tried it - I have an iPod in the car - and the DAB is way better than the radio in my old car, so find I use that more than I used to.

15.5 models for gesture tailgate - To me a gimmick rather a must have - used a few times

CD's you can load I think 6 or 8 onto the HDD very easy, but to be honest pretty rubbish compared to the 40 in my wifes 1 series BMW !!

I have the 3l my boss has the 4.4l mine is obviously far superior Whistle Paul

Gesture tailgate was introduced in MY16, not MY15.5 (which is what I have). Loading the CD's is easy, but it takes ages! Mine's a 3L and I love it; Smooth, quiet, economical, fast enough. Seems to suit the car well. The V8 seemed a little rough by comparison, but noticeably quicker and less 'nimble' as mentioned before.

Mine I'm thought was 15.5MY as I have gesture tailgate & Heated seat buttons on the climate buttons rather than the menu.

Car delivered early Oct 2015 perhaps it was 16MY Paul

The number of times I've wished I had the gesture tailgate! I always seem to be going to the boot of the car with my hands full and struggling to find the key.

Loading CDs onto the hard disk takes forever. I did it initially when I got the car, but haven't used it since.

I mainly listen to either DAB, or my iPhone via Bluetooth. Although sometimes I find the Bluetooth connection a little patchy - it cuts out when it's in my jacket pocket for some reason. Doesn't always happen, so probably a Bluetooth thing rather than a Range Rover thing. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
