Stuck at the first hurdle- front mud flaps

I have looked at the Wiki and Topix links for the instructions http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/co...3Dmudflaps which are same as those supplied with the genuine mud flaps but I have an issue.

In picture 1, it shows the lower quarter panel being removed but doesn't say how.

Does anyone know how this panel is best removed?

The video shows it slightly easier than it is in reality, you need some force on the bottom to tug it out. I assume later versions are the same but best to check the fixings in microcat.
