New 2011MY..any views?

I've had my Vogue SE SC for a few months now and to be honest it's the only car I want to drive (apart from the Aston on a dry day) so I'm seriously thinking about trading up to the new 4.4 TDV8 Vogue now the dealers have them in the showroom. With 30mpg combined I could justify using it as my daily drive covering about 30,000 miles per year and getting shot of the 635d as well.

I like the new Baltic Blue or grey colours and with 20" rims and factory tints it would look the business. I would value your views, comments and opinions based on the new model.

I appreciate you are all very busy at the moment with Joanne, but maybe I can get you back on track for a couple of posts Wink Current MY2020

Busy with Joanne Laughing Laughing Not ...... Anyhow

Well took the 4.4 TDV8 for a drive today , very impressed with the power of the new engine combined with the ZF 8 speed gearbox , steering is a bit on the light side.

With it being late in the afternoon traffic was a bit on the busy side so it was a case of very seldom getting it by 30mph , until we hit a stretch of the M74 where upon joining it i was told to try the acceleration , which i have to say is fast .

Also the kick-down can accelerate pretty quick too , but it did still feel a bit floaty /rolly at times.

One thing that did bother me was the material or lack of it they use now in the seats it just felt as if i had got into a drivers seat that was maybe 5 year old as the side bolster was kind of lacking in padding.

The Baltic Blue with the Metallic Shimmer thru it is stunning ...... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Great for taking to the beauticians as the parking bays are so small, for all the small lady cars lol

Mick, the one I saw yesterday was Baltic Blue but with a dark grey radiator grille, fog light surrounds and lower front spoiler bar which I was told was standard. It looked very smart. I'll try and get a picture next time I go to the dealers. Current MY2020
