Battery Assist Gadget

With all the potential woes re batteries for total peace of mind I bought one of the items pictured, for 0.99p ( loads on fleabay).
I mounted the thing in a very visible spot so now whenever I open the bonnet I see what state the battery is at, and if you rev the car it confirms your alternator is charging.
Drain from this is hardly measurable so seems win win to me.

Just search for "digital voltmeter" should you be interested.

 Many thanks
Paul

Got a red one in a case from China - 99p, now wait a month for it to come! .

Easier than getting multimeter every time I plug in charging board.
I use it every week now just to monitor battery when I have only done short runs.
Should have got blue to match the car??
Blow the expense!!

@Baltic Blue - did you but the lead for the towing socket or make it up ??? A good way of charging the battery without having the bonnet open. Regards
Mark

Bought it from site shop.
Just asked Martin to make one with 6mm eyelets rather than Ctek socket.
I think it is the most useful bit of kit (providing you have got the towing socket)
