Are the superchargers constantly running?

Does the S/c run all the time?

It could just be the engine I forget there is a V8 in there sometimes it's so smooth!

Just FYI
Mine doesn't do that done 100K and I don't hear any untoward noises under hard acceleration , except that v8 sound and some S/Charger woosh
But I now want you mean by looking out for it

Its not that noticeable but it seems to be at 1800 rpm and its seems worse when I turn when moving slowly. Its probably the engine to be fair, trouble is I bought the first one I seen lol so I don't know any different.
