I used to own a Jeep - and it used to really wind me up the number of other things that were referred to as Jeeps - even more offensive than an Evoque being called a Range Rover

No. I hate even calling it a "truck". "Vehicle" tends to work most of the time.

Like Alistair I have a Jeep Jeep so I tend to bark at ignorant peep's, and my ffrr recently has become know as Money Grabbing B'stard Although it's more commonly know as the 'ang 'over  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Oh forgot, no never Jeep. Though I like some Jeeps.

When I lived in Italy, they called all 4x4's Jeeps as well. I always found that slightly insulting because every time we went out off roading I was usually towing one of the Jeep wranglers home. I typically refer to mine as the Rover or by her proper name Priscilla.
