Hi just been doing some thinking and want to get some more power out of the TD6 as I cant afford a nicer TDV8

So the plan is to get a Hybrid turbo £500 ) give or take
remap the car with the New turbo

Also want to fit a better intercooler but I am stuck finding one that will do nicely (HELP)

I am getting an uprated gearbox first as my car has 120K on the clock and no doubt wont last

already have an EGR delete and turbo back custom exhaust with no CAT

SO ANY POINTERS OR HELP PLEASE

I've never had a TD6 - but I'd be talking to Pete at Bell Auto Services about the remap & whatever else you should do - he has a lot of history & a great reputation

The gearbox is already working beyond its limits I would be very cautious about putting more torque through it . The GM gearbox has its problems with valve wear from soft metal and not through being torn apart by the TD6's mighty torque even when chipped but I can't see it lasting ten minutes if you get significant results from the engine . 2008 MY Supercharged
