I must admit it does 'sound' like flooded engine when starting. On occasions it stalls immediately and then starts fine on 2nd attempt. If it is a worn injector, (or 2 or more), how do I check for this? Current: 2004 Vogue 4.4 V8 - 2004 Discovery 2

For checking the injectors, watch last nights Wheeler Dealers. Ed China was testing the injectors from an old Merc SL and had a tool which shot petrol through them which turned into a fine mist.........or not as the case maybe.

No doubt your local garage will have such kit. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

May have found it!

Been getting these faults for quite some time but assumed it was down to low battery. Battery now fine so using my iidBT did another check:

ECM-Engine (ME7.2)

0x404 O2 sensor heater circuit bank 2 downstream sensor fault
0x414 O2 sensor circuit bank 2 downstream sensor

If it is this, can I replace just one, which side is bank 2?

Also Landrover are quoting £169 + vat and EBay £40. Is there really that much difference in quality, or is it usual Landrover over pricing? Current: 2004 Vogue 4.4 V8 - 2004 Discovery 2
