Well I had a win this weekend.

The quote from the Benz garage for 5w-40 was $18/ltr!!

So I went looking around the back street places and found a Lube Shop. Asked the guy there for 5w-30. He said yes!

Hes stated they brought it in for cars like mine, but they have given up try to convince the local populace the 15w-40 is incorrect thus selling it to clear out.

Got it for $4.50/ltr. Happy!

Now I've just found out that my service kit only contains one sump plug! Nothing is ever quite 100%!

I find Game Store very hit and miss, and since January is pretty badly stocked, in-fact you havent even been able to buy car shampoo there for months.

Agree with your oil change routine, however I have had a couple of long runs in my 5000klms (300,650 & 1100klms) so felt that benefited the engine as well.

I found one approved by various groups so happy, I import all my filters my self.
