Drain hole to engine bay, above battery

Looking in the battery compartment i noticed the water drain hole thats above the negative battery terminal has no hose, so water would just run onto the terminal, also the large black cable, that has two clips on was just loose, so i pushed it under the bracket and clipped in the holders, i hope it the right way, or should it be on top?

lastly, where are the jump terminals?

Cheers

Dave

Yes, a pipe connects to it and then to an exit at the bottom of the wheel arch liner. Look under the battery tray, it's probably slipped off and fallen down. If you can't retrieve it from above then you might have to remove the wheel arch liner from the rear and fish it out that way and re-attach.

No jump lead terminals I'm afraid.
Seems they were done away with after around late 2005. Very handy they were too.

I looked for the hose but its gone, must be behind the wheel arch liner, i'll take a look for it tomorrow, is it easy to remove the wheel arch liners? Dave

Steve.

I have the terminals on my 2007, so they were still around for a while, as you say they are very handy.
