Following on from my other topic on "black"

I would like white but they seem rare and a bit expensive so am looking at other combinations, mainly black exterior but am undecided on the interior colour......

I am used to cars with mostly black interiors but wonder if it would be too much to have black paintwork and black interior.

I also think the ivory leather looks very smart but not sure how resistant it would be to less than careful kids and grandparents.

I have also seen a very nice sandy/gold colour (similar to the one at the top of the FFRR web pages) so other combinations might be worth a look too.

I expect to keep my FF for around 4-5yrs so want a colour combination I can still smile at in a year or so.

Doesn't help that I have no idea what colours were available at the time (any links to help on that score?)

So, what are the views of all you current L322 FF owners? (other than "stop worrying and just buy one!")

Ivory stands up better than I expected it to - I'm on my second after having a dark one prior to that.

It does show up marks though, but a quick once over with a baby wipe seems to do the trick.

Parchment, Sand and the other darker colours didn't really do it for me.

It might be worth a trip to Saxton

They have a very poor reputation on here, but usually have a wide range of stock, so can be useful to help figure out what it is you really want. Either them or a more local dealership that has a decent stock.

I have seen one described as "Tan" but wasn't fussed........colour reminded me of the awful interior of my Dad's Allegro in the 70's

I'd go with the darker colours and stay away from the painted Oxford leather myself....

These are a selection of the colours, there may be others....





Oh, and just get on and buy one..... :rolllaugh:

Mine is listed as -

Did they stop it on the L322 after 2010 ?

Which reminds me - http://www.vindecoderz.com/ is a great resource if you're viewing a car, you can enter the VIN number found on the passengers side of the windscreen and see the build spec

I agree with Alistair, the ivory hold up much better to kids than I expected. I keep a tub of armorall leather wipes in the boot, but so far everything has just wiped off!

Best colour combo IMHO is Stornaway with ivory and piano! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have black/black inside/outside and I like it. It's rather formal. The cooled seats mean it never gets too hot. I stayed away from ivory (which looks fantastic) because I was worried about the cleaning. I'm happy to hear it isn't the issue I thought it was. There isn't a wrong choice here.

I too was worried about the Ivory issue, and also didn't want the 'black on black' version. In the end, I found a 2010 model in the relatively rare 'Storm' grey interior - the car itself is silver ...

Go half 'n' half If you have young kids, buy the back of seat protectors for the front seats
