Loose mirrors

Hi Guys
Had a quick search but couldnt find what i was after. The easiest way to describe the problem is that both driver and passenger wing mirrors have quite a bit of play in them. The fold in and out dead as they should but they appear loose. Under hard acceleration (as hard as it can be in a FFRR) the mirrors fold in a bit and under heavy breaking they go out again. This isn't a big problem just a niggle. Is there a way of tightening them up or do i just have to live with it?
Thanks
Rob
