Nah, more boring than watching the lawn grow. Bring back the glory days of Gilles Villeneuve, Keke Rosberg, Alain Prost, Riccardo Patrese and of course the fabulously exciting Rene Arnoux. Those were proper racers with damn fast turbocharged cars, real racing with overtaking half a dozen times a lap in some cases. A world apart from the processional boredom and utter waste of petrol which is the modern F1.

Jim Clark used to race F1 in the morning. Saloon cars in the afternoon and still find time for a game of charades in the evening |

Sorry but Hamilton was fantastic today and we should celebrate having someone of his talent. To push that hard in those conditions was simply mind boggling.

Basil I am not disputing Hamiltons talent or his abilty to become a legend, but as a layman he is boring, which I am sure will be a HUGH concern to him |

it's not the current crop of drivers' abilities and style, it's the rules, that have changed. The cars are quieter, |

There's no doubting Lewis Hamilton's talent, nobody wins F1 championships just by being average but I feel that today's Monaco race wasn't won by Hamilton but lost by an appalling pit stop for Daniel Ricciardo who is right to be very annoyed about it. A classic example of an own goal by a team who should know better.
