Engine management light after failed start

Hi, well after solving why our car wouldn't start, loose negative battery cable, it's thrown up the eml today. We drove for about half hour on lpg on our 03 fine, stopped for 10 minutes then went to restart engine and got nothing, nothing at all, even all lights stayed on dash, no engine turn over or relay clicking etc. Tried it again and started perfectly. Drove off then eml came up.
I am wondering if it is to do with the lpg service we had done last week, they cleaned the exchanger but everything else was fine.
Not had the ecu read yet.
Any suggestions? I visually inspected the hoses at top rear of engine and they seamed fine, but soft maybe but don't know how hard they supposed to be? Couldn't find any cracks etc.

You won't come to any conclusions until you get the codes read... could be anything from a failing lambda sensor to a collapsed cat, may or maynot have anything to do with the LPG...

If it is ONLY happening on LPG then it hasn't been set up correctly and is probably running rich and over-fueling... lazy or inexperienced LPG tuners will use a base map and not tune the car individually with respect to STFT... this usually means running rich and setting off lambda faults...

I have noticed in the past that a lambda will fail on LPG before it fails on petrol so that may also be the case, but it's rare.... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Pete

Will the error code still be able to get read if the eml has gone out?
