What is the average MPG for TD6
My run to the office is around 25 miles each way I have been getting around 28 recently its droped to around 23 but one day last week the morning was very cold and wet misty sort of weather and the MPG came up around 28 again can this be an intercooler problem

I am getting between 21 at worse at 25 at best at the moment, so mine is looking close to yours.

It depends on many things. Traffic, speed and driving style being important.
I am a slow driver and used to average just over 30mpg in my Td6. Never ever got it below 28.
But this doesn't seem normal going by past discussions. 25-28 more common.

But why 28 for god knows how long then 23 and why on the cold morning it was up ???

have you got enough air getting to the engine? cold air takes up less space and combusts better - hence the purpose of an intercooler cooling the air prior to it going ionto the engine. Might be blocked air filter or a hole / break in intercooler pipe
