Hi, seen various posts about straps breaking but always like this one of axle's

I had one on my P38A break there but it had rusted through. Water must have been collecting in the sheath and running down to the bottom of the loop.

Just had a look at mine and 3 out of 4 fixing points seized. Took them off, wire brushed, greased and refitted. |
