Loose Exhaust heat shield

I was under the FF yesterday and noticed the rear heat shield was no longer attached to the underside.
I have ordered some of those large washer type spring clips that push over the threaded bolts, were they the type originally fitted and have rusted away? Hopefully the ones from ebay will do the job. QUID FACIUM TIBI
