Front park sensor not working. Audible but not sensing

Hi guys,

My nearside front 2 parking sensors don't seem to be working properly

They both make audible clicks but they don't seem to pick anything up.

I guess the first thing to do would be to swap them around with confirmed working sensors to identify if it's the sensor or the loom.

Any idea how to get them out? 2003 TD6

If the fault doesn't follow the sensor then I will need to check the loom. Where does the other end terminate and how can I get to it?

Thanks

Ebay has them from about £6.50 each. Current:

If your really careful it is possible to pop them out with a small screwdriver...although this is NOT the recommended way of doing things.. It don't half save some time Wink

The correct method is to get behind them and push.... some can be done with the bumper in place.. but most require removal Sad Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
