Who says these things are expensive to run...

Not a subject I would normally post about but I am chuffed so here we go....

Latest service took ages (while you wait) but Harwoods looked after me and I could work from their building so no problems - 6 hours later and the service bill is below £600 - happy with that

Down side is I need (desperately) two new rear tyres and wiper blades - tyres I was already looking at and got a pair of Pirelli scorpion zero's at a good price from AJS tyres and the wipers from following the various recommendations on here.

Car is back to feeling a million dollars and cost me less than a grand all in.

Happy ! "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

The guy is probably just cheesed that he won't be able to take the stuff home himself and use it in a bodger diesel engine he has. The guys at our tip are magpies of the highest order. V8 or else ...

£1000 is not pocket change for most of us but compared to the bills I used to have with my 2003 4.4v8 this was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting the service to be more and the tyres so all n all I was ok with it. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
