Hi all. My drivers mirror was broken and I order a new glass. Glass arrived and I goggled how to remove old glass and did same. New glass has an extra connector on the back and no tabs to secure it so I pushed it on and it clip on. Is this normal. Obviously is wasn't a genuine part but supplied by a LR Specialist and the mirror is heated with electrochromic feature as per genuine part.

Any thoughts ?? I would hate for it to fall off even though it seems secure

Ok I removed the mirror glass again and the connector for the electromagnetic from the door housing is not visible. I can see yellow wires that seem to go under the main wiring loom Does anyone know if these are for the connector.

The broken mirror was much thinner than the replacement and doesn't have a connector for the electromagnetic. I'm hoping the previous owner replaced the mirror at some stage with a non electro one and pushed the connector back into the housing

Anyone any ideas please. Also can't see how to separate the mirror so I can get access 2015 4.4 AB

Just to update. Found the electro connector tucked in behind the motor and now mirror good as new

At some stage correct mirror had been replaced with a LR non electo one Car was one owner before me a full LR service history with the same dealer so it looks like it was them
