Reduced Engine Performane

August has been a bit of a month for the fatty. Started with suspension messages which turned out to be a hole in the offside front air-bag. Duly replace and all well.

Come to the end of the month and over the last couple of days I've had 2 restricted engine performance warnings. Both at around 90 (in Germany of course) and a restart has cured both of them.

So I've done much reading on here and it looks like I've got to renew the supercharger coolant pump and fiddle with the wiring. It appears, my VIN is in the affected area. Still not sure why LR weren't forced to run a recall. I can't see how running out of puff doing 90, in the outside lane of an "autobahn" is anything other than dangerous.

The fact that LR have issued a TSB for this, that clearly states it's wired wrong, suggests they ought to be paying for any that come back.

I guess no one's been successful in getting them to pay.
