My missus has been running a 2012 Nissan Qashquai for the last 12 months or so but the local carpark near her work has started to charge £14 per day!! |

It doesn't look that tiny to me. Modern Minis are bloated and rather large these days.

I quite like them. On our second Mini currently. First was my wifes 2004 Cooper S which was nice and got a GP2 last year which is so much better built than the previous one. Great little cars. Interested to see what the new Countryman is like when it comes out.

My son bought a used one and I was very impressed by its roller-skate-like cornering ability. He'd only had it 4 months and the engine blew up while his wife was driving. Fingers were pointed but, in the end, he broke it for parts and sent the leftovers to the scrap yard. 2006MY 4.2 SC

We are on our second Mini Cooper S. The current one is 2 years old. The previous one we had for 8 years. My only problem with the first one was 17" rims and runflat tyres. Because of the low profile of the tyres and the stiff walls of the runflats I had to have several rims replaced. I insisted on 16" rims and normal tyres when I ordered the current MCS and so far no problems with the wheels. |

We've just ordered a new Cooper to act as a third car. The fuel savings commuting to work almost cover the outlay per month and it gives me more time to work on the endless full fat maintenance jobs |

Must admit i find the MPG shocking whenever i drive the other halfs car. I consider anything over 20mpg reasonable |

We have an '05 Cooper S Convertible - has been a great little car - other than servicing, tyres & brakes, all it's needed in an exhaust

Think the new one is a bit big too. I had a first generation one as a courtesy car with the daft rear door. Was only a diesel but was nice to tool about in for a few days. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The 5 door that we have just bought is about 6" longer than the standard 3 door but the new clubman is about a foot longer than the old clubman |
