Hi folks

I picked up a 2007 Vogue and neither of the key remotes work or re-sync, figured it could be the key so bought another and it also fails to resync but my little key rob rf tester is picking up good or strong signal from the key before I press the button.

I expect I need to replace the XUO500040 module, but I noted it has links to the rear window glass and an antenna off under the headlining. Does anybody know if the key receiver is the rear window aerial or up in the shark fin? I also have no GPS signal on the nav so I’m wondering if I should be looking at the aerial in the roof before I splash £150 on a new module!

Annoyingly, the car was unlocking on the key before I had the faulty steering column replaced and now the alarm goes off every time I unlock the car so my remote locking issue has now shot to the top of the repair list!
