misfuelling device

Having read up about the misfuelling device on the forum I found that mine had been triggered and there was no reset tool in the boot, so got the tool but still will not reset,
I have found that I can get a replacement filler pipe with the misfuelling device but as I cannot see either end I wanted to know if anyone else has changed this and where to start fuel
Also Mine is an 08 model can I fit the pipe from say an 04 which has not got the misfuelling device Question

The misfuel reset tool can be a finciky thing. Persevere with it, just needs a few goes.
