 Reading thru Auto Express , they have reported that certain insurer's are saying that winter tyres are classified as a car's Modification and in some cases's have put people's insurance up by as nearly £230 ....  | ||

 If this was the case it would mean brands like Nokian & vredestein would need to be notified? I am sure it is just the case of fitting the recommended size (255/50 R20, 255/55 R19 etc) rather than manufacturer... | ||

 I meant the spec the manufacturer recommend not the manufacturer of the tyre. Sorry for my lack of clarity this morning     | ||
