I'm trying to hard wire a dash cam in my 2010 supercharged (US). Where is the front [cabin] fuse box located and how do I get to it?

Open the lower glove box, and on the left side of the open glove box is a guide/stop, push it towards to the right and lower the glove box, behind it is a panel with a cover, two tabs hold it closed Dave

Thanks! Any idea where/how I can safely ground a wire in or around the glove box/fuse box area?

I used the 10mm bolt that in the top right corner (top left i think in left hand drive) of the fuse box, you'll see it when you take the cover off

HA! That's the same dashcam I'm trying to install. Is that bolt easy to get to? I remember quickly looking in there and couldn't find a screw/bolt that was easy to unscrew and screw

Once you have the cover off, its top right, the one with the blue sleeve, bear in mind mines right hand drive

Its easy to remove, just use a long extension on your ratchet

How did you test or verify that a fuse slot is either permanent live/always on/batt or powered on with key/acc?

No disrespect, but judging by the questions i think it would be safer if you go an auto electrician to install your dash cam mate  Dave

I understand and appreciate your honesty, but I'm a lifelong tinkerer - this challenge is part of the fun. I think this is more of the case where I have the skill set, but misplaced a tool.

I grounded PMP's ground lead, put a new 5 amp fuse in the spare F4 slot with PMP's battery lead wrapped around it's teeth, wrapped PMP's accessory lead around the teeth of F65's 5 amp fuse (venture cam, surround cameras) and the PMP doesn't power on. I verified the fuses have consistency with the multimeter, verified the car's battery is above 12.5 volts, so the only thing I can think of is to verify F4 and F65 are indeed permanent/battery and acc circuits, respectively. And that's where I'm not getting any readings doing so, so I'm missing something here.
