Good to hear this. I've been putting off getting a replacement for fear of the older horror stories I've heard. |

I didn't specify anything but they fitted Pilkington Acoustic anyway and did a great job. |

Had ours replaced last year by Autoglass and they fitted a Pilkington Glass screen without any requests. Made an excellent job of it as well. |

I loaded a long plank of wood through the car and onto the dash - carefully edged up to the windscreen It was still just out of the boot - so I had the genius idea to drop the seat and see if that would give me just enough space So I lifted the plank with one hand - and used the neat feature in my L405 to electrically lower the rear seat I then lowered the plank which acted as a 3m lever off the dash and put a nice big crack in the windscreen Last edited by Alistair on 20th Sep 2016 7:04pm. No roof bars for the L405 without permanent rails - I think because of the glass roof |
