Slightly off topic - but I also spray silicone spray on the air springs whenever she's jacked up with a wheel dangling. It should prevent cracking due to the rubber drying out and should give slight protection from nasties off the road.

The current weather is very current and the effect on our vehicles very relevant. The fact that it has been discussed earlier is not a major problem in my opinion. I would rather read threads like this than all the off topic crud that is posted on a daily basis. Forums are there to DISCUSS current situations not simply to be used as a reference point for an answer or fix - that will be what the fixed information library WIKI is for |

I went more basic with the frozen seals issue, I simply put vaselene on the felt strip and it worked a treat as it doesn't freeze easily and the door now opens every time without a hint of sticking. I does seem to be the felt strip that sticks on my car , as oppossed to the main rubber seal. I actually think I got the vaselene tip somewhere on this website but can remember where it was. Easy to get hold of aswell. Steve
