I went and did it, got them powder coated which was almost the same price as just painting.

£50 a corner with any defects sorted after total strip of old finish, new valve and balancing, Powder coat base coat, spray paint colour, then a powder coat of lacquer. Easy wipe off of brake dust etc ideal for me.
