Has anyone tried to reprogram/update the hard disc based sat nav maps yet.
I take it they are updated using the usb connection in the centre console?

the update can only be done by the dealer at a cost....the latest year is 2014.. ... - .- -.

And its not cheap..... Buying a Garmin from Halfords would be cheaper!

I've got the 2014 mapping update. Its just very annoying that the system uses the same maps as Garmin and yet my Garmin has up to date 2017 (yes 2017) maps.

I just wondered if I could access the hard drive could I modify the maps

I have 2010 and original maps as far as I know - there is one bit of road opened in 2014 which is missing but apart from that it's fine - not sure it's worth spending £££s personally
