Getting through my list of jobs to do and my next piece of the puzzle is to suss out is to why the fatty idles between 700/800rpm ..it sometimes drops to about 400 then immediately goes back to 700...it does this whilst sitting stationary as cars off road whilst I'm repairing bits and bobs.

Not sure if she's just needing a good burst and I've also noticed it settles quicker and stays perfectly at 700rpm once air cons switched on...I've replaced the air filter and its booked in for a big service shortly...

Appears to be the battery...noticed if i put lights/compressor ect on the rpm drops..tested battery with engine off and it was 11.6 and 14.2 with engine running! Battery did empty really quick when I was changing headlights and I recharged it well so I thought I had ..fingers crossed I've sussed it...
