Privacy film

Has anyone had any experience with removing aftermarket privacy film?

Recently I went to look at a car that had it on the rear windows and wondered whether this would be a nightmare to remove. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

As the video above, I used a wall paper steamer. Hold the steamer on the tint for a few minutes and it will start to lift off. I also used a Stanley blade to get the odd bits off. Let the windows dry off then use some tar and glue remover on some paper towel and the glue just wipes off.
