Sorry for my bad english.
My new FFRR 4.4 TDV8 Vogue had a flaw when I bought it: the rubber band lining the rear window was kind of "rotten" on 3 out of 4 ends.

Do you think I will have to change the entire window or a good mech can change it for cheap? I say that because Land Rover said they perhaps would have to change entire window! But you know it, they dont repair things at LR, they change them.

They didn't fit them to the earlier ones, you can just pull them off, clean it up and it looks fine, or just replace the strips, lots of posts on it....  Pete

Thats quite a common thing both of mine had the same problem. I think Land rover will do that on warranty.
Have you checked with your dealer?

I'm not under warranty anymore, but it seems you can replace them yourself without much hassle so I believe its ok.

I don't trust much my LR dealer. He even mentionned I had to replace the entire upper tailgate!!!
