[no longer For Sale] 2006 Range Rover SC with 2012 Facelift | |
The time has come to upgrade my Range Rover. I've had this 2006 (56 plate) Supercharged FF since June 2014. Since I've had the car it has been the best car I've ever had and has never missed a beat. It's been the only car I've not been looking to change after a month or two.
The car is Zermatt Silver with Jet Leather. There are a few marks on the body, most notable of which is a small dent above the rear door, you can just make it out in the pictures.
Although the car is a 2006, it has a full 2012 facelift and looks identical to our 2012 AB when parked next to it.
The car has covered 96,500 as of tonight. The car has a mountain of paperwork and has only ever been service by Land Rover dealers. The MOT expires on 12th November 2016 but the car will have a full 12 month MOT on it when sold. If the full asking price is paid I will have it serviced at the main dealer before it goes to it's new home.
In the two years I've had it this car hasn't missed a beat. There's been a few little jobs done, a new Yuasa battery was fitted which still has 2.5 years warranty on it, the supercharger oil has been changed, the transfer box oil has been changed and the front and rear diff oil has been changed, I was going to get the gearbox hot flushed but I've not got round to it yet. The thermostat on the car stuck open so it started taking a long time to warm up, a new one was fitted and it's not given any problem since. All of the parts I've fitted to the car have been sourced from Dan @ Duckworths. It's also got a later style flip key courtesy of Daveo on here as well as the 2 original style keys (3 in total although only 2 will start the car). It's also had a Pilkington replacement windscreen fitted to it so the heated screen is working perfectly too.
All tyres on the car are the factory fitted Pirelli Scorpion Zero's and have 5mm of tread left on them.
The car has a genuine removable tow bar fitted to it with the single 7 pin towing socket. Until I got the car 2 years ago it hadn't had a tow bar on it, I fitted this and have probably used it half a dozen times.
The supercharged RR has everything on it, it's got the rear screen entertainment with both sets of headphones, 6 DVD changer, 6 CD changer, 3.5mm audio in socket, bluetooth, venture cam, sat nav, etc. The car does have the TV tuner fitted to it but it's not been upgraded to freeview so just shows snow on the screen.
My dad has owned 2 TDV8's now, although they're lovely cars, they just can't match the burble off this when you start it first thing in the morning. It really does sound lovely. I'm only selling this as I've decided to upgrade to a 5.0.
Anyway, pictures speak a thousand words so I'll stick plenty of them below. If anybody's got any questions, please get in touch. I'm also happy if anybody wants to have the car inspected The car has been detailed annually since I've had it and has had a regular 6 monthly maintenance done by the local detailer as well, the paintwork is in lovely condition.
Asking price is £12,995, for this price the car will come with 12 months MOT and a fresh dealer service. The car is HPI clear and has no outstanding finance on it.
Thanks
David.
