I know what you mean Stan, though I think they'd look good. The smaller XTs might be less imposing. For anyone that really wants better throw, they can deliver what no bulb upgrade can.

I'm not really expecting a huge market for driving lamps here anyway - but maybe there'll be some interest in bulbs. Shame wipers aren't available for the L322, but I believe they are for the L405.

Main beam (+ main/dip if halogen) and 02-05 Fogs:

H7 - Night Tech - £25.25 - RRP £35.80
H7 - Xtreme White Plus - £42.70 - RRP £59.27

Front fogs (06-onwards):

H11 - Night Tech - £28.25 - RRP £39.91
H11 - Xtreme White Plus - £49.35 - RRP £68.44

Cornering lamps (up to 09 only):

H8 35=70W - Xtreme White - £64.50 - RRP £89.42 (Please note, these ones are not E-marked for road use)

^^^^Yes, sort of, but I think you're thinking of the older style. The XTs are OE equipment for the Disco4 and Defender, introduced around 2010, rather than the older style that was offered for the D3 and FFRR, so they would have been offered for the facelift, but presumably LR didn't see the market.

Well I would but the pre-facelift LR brackets won't fit mine. I really don't like the generic brackets so can't see I would ever fit them.

As far as LEDs in a halogen reflector goes, it's not physically possible to place the LEDs in the perfect position - there are basically two issues, the first is the size of the LED; even the small ones are bigger than a filament, so they cause extra scatter, but what multiplies the problem is that they cannot be placed in on the focal point because they must be mounted on something. You can see the issue below:



For these reasons, I don't recommend an LED retrofit. The best bulbs I can offer in an H7 fitment are the Xtreme White Plus ones.  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I remember buying Lightforce lamps as part of a 'D3 deal' some years ago....I do recall Ken kitting his TDV8 FF up at the time....it looked awesome  Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
