2013 FFRR Vogue SE

Just bought an L405 from eBay, probably not my best decision but gradually working my way around the car seeing all the bits I need to fix or weren't as described in the advert.

Does anyone recognise these bits and can tell me what they are for?

The black brackets are attached just behind the rear sets in the boot area.

The plastic sprung things were just lying in the boot.

Thanks.

The bracket is not original - it looks like some sort of dog guard fixing.

The flaps would go in the holes just above the brackets - they would match the flaps on the parcel shelf for the reclining rear seats.

That's great. Thanks.

I did think the brackets looked a bit agricultural.

I don't know how the flappy things go back in as I've never taken mine out.... I assume they were removed as part of the dog guard installation.

Do you have the parcel shelf ?

@mike-edwards

Don't worry about the eBay stigma Mike. I bought mine from eBay 5 years ago and it's been great, only inlet manifold and oil cooler needing to be changed. Done over 40,000 miles and still as reliable as ever since the fixes. Jut did 2000 miles to France and back without a hitch.

Enjoy yours!

Thanks. I suspect I've been lied to regarding this one but we'll see...

Have got the parcel shelf although it's not fitted at the moment.

Should be good then - if you were buying one, you'd need to ensure it had the flappy bits for the reclining seats as not all do Thumbs Up

Hi,

Which flappy bits are those? The ones from the first post?

Thanks.

Front edge of the parcel shelf should have flappy bits - shown in the photo above Thumbs Up

When the rear seats are in their more upright position the fill the gap, but allow them to recline.

Cars with non-reclining rear seats don't have them on the parcel shelf as seats are always in the more upright position.

the right angled bracket is for the genuine dog guard. I've been looking for the part that's behind that panel if you'd like to sell... It's another right angled part that fixes to the side behind the seat belt finisher __

If I can ever work out how to fit the trim back on I will have a go at getting the other side off.

that's exactly what I'm after if you'd be willing to part with them...

To refit the trim, you jiggle the bottom into the slot along the edge of the boot floor while lining up the pins along the underside of the shelf, then just tap in.

Do you also have this tie down point extension?
