I bought my first RR a few weeks ago (2007 Supercharged 4.2), and have found this to be a great resource, so thanks for that!

I have a weird issue with central locking and power steering which these forums to me is related to the BCM, so I have ordered an IID Bluetooth diagnostics tool from John Craddock Ltd. They called me this morning to say they can no longer get them, and the manufacturer has no alternative product.

Does anyone know if this is true? Seems unlikely... If so, what would people recommend as a 2nd best choice?

Will message Dan - was reluctant to order on GAP site as they don't have a phone number or address details, always makes me wary.

Just want someone in the know to confirm it's still a current product before I part with £500.

I seem to remeber they changed their distributors a year or so ago so thats probably why that supplier isnt able to supply the order.

I think this is more a problem with John Craddock than GAP.

As others have said, maybe they've lost the franchise to sell them. Given the amount of investment that most of us "old timers" have seen from the guys at GAP and the legendary support they've offered, I'd be totally astonished if they had discontinues what is, IMO, the most useful diagnostic tool across the entire LR range!  Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Just to update everyone - GAP diagnostics confirmed the above - the product is very much alive and development is ongoing. They recently change to distribute through AllMakes 4x4 from Britpart, which is probably why Craddocks said no can do.

Ordered on next day delivery from Pete at Bell Auto Services.

After reading this thread, just called Dan at Duckworths and splashed £410 on a BT IIDTOOL in what felt like under 60 seconds!

My heads still spinning.

Quick and painless. Dan said I should have it within 2 days. Mails been a bit weird round here recently so I won't hold him to that.

I was one click away from buying it direct from GAP when I realised there were no contact details and there was lots of Canadian legal stuff on the website. Glad I stopped myself.
