After pricing the emulator and the nbt and then looking at the dsp issue I decided to go for an Android unit. Avin 4 from the states. Came in at half the price of an nbt system , plus I got to keep the dsp. It was when fitting this that the coding option came up.

^^^ That looks very nice Thumbs Up

I contacted Avin to ask if they had any distributors in Europe, but never received a response so decided that if they couldn't be bothered to communicate when I was looking to buy, they may not be great for support after the event... Hopefully you had a better experience with them - I just got my DSP amp fixed by Baris, sourced a Mk IV nav on eBay (for just £50) and I'm enjoying the retro-experience. 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8

After all my hard work I’m going to be ripping this out... no problems with it but what it cost I will never get back and I’m upgrading to a supercharged. I will either refit this or sell it as it all works good. Rather than put the factory junk in I found an eonon android unit for £200 and a CarPlay adapter for £30 - what does the Avin do over and above the generic Chinese android units? Current stable:

2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

None that I know of. I only went for the Avin as it seemed to be the best fit rather than force a X5 unit into the hole. No7 - 2003 V8 Vogue

I get that - how was routing the 6.5m cable from the boot to the front? Where did you run it as my office only
