Trim removal

Does anyone know how to remove the aluminium strip below the RR letters? the lacquer has flaked on mine and i want to re do it.

It's just stuck on, so I'd try and maybe warm it up a bit and then ease it off the adhesive as you go.....

As above. Stuck on with 3m tape.

Warming will help. Residue can be removed CAREFULLY with a toffee wheel on a slow drill. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Has your strip been painted? Mine is darker than the letters. Looks like that is what could be peeling off?

2012 had matching strip and letters,2009 - 2011 had the darker strip and lighter letters. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
