Spring conversion

I have been to look at an L322 with failed air suspension. I suspect the compressor.

Is there a spring conversion kit available? If so what do people recommend.

I had a BMW X5 a few years ago and did the same.

Cheers
Andy

A compressor is a much cheaper alternative to changing to springs and a much better ride.

Also if you do change you will experience a whole raft of problems with its interconnected systems such as the DSC, HDC and ABS.

I smile to myself when I read about Defender owners converting coils to air springs, at enormous expense and without the auto valving on these cars.

Most heavy trucks have had EAS for the last decade. A much better system.

For me a reliability debate on EAS vs coils is like debating pneumatic tyres vs solid rubber. Laughing ______________________________
